Daily Yomiuri 'Cor' 'Cordis' Performance
Once in England, I walked around mountains,
looking upon the sea, a perfect setting,
complete existence, its mountains and
its seas are its only realities.
At the age of thirteen, I analyzed the world
in which we live.
The high tide took away a part of me,
nothing became the same.

In the south of Izu Island, Mountains and sea, an earthquake prone area,
my heart pounded, discovering red clay, close to the place,
where two special friends of mine, moved to.
Back in Abiko, running to my back gardens, the rice fields, where I often rest
my fast beating heart, next to the most polluted lake of Japan.
I dug deep into the ground, looking for black clay.
Next visit, Hachioji, where the heart of my oldest son started to beat.
He grew up next to the river, from there I scooped brown clay.
The black, brown and red clay, mixed into one solid stone,
The earth as a heart of soil, strong, smooth, involuntary, still breakable.
