Tunnel Vision

... surrounding sounds vision of voices around my room of water my bare room clear as clean transparent thoughts narrow enclosure wrapped in warmth here I can feel here I can cry here I can fly into the colored sky ...
... water and me reflective emotions how much I have loved this loving water how much I have loved water of love A distant sound of draining water ...

The concept is to design a restricted field of vision in which the peripheral is limited. Only objects directly in line with the eyes can be seen, creating a series of segmented views. For this performance, the diagonal lines are important markers, since the diagonal paths at the performance space guide the audience's eyes to one particular perspective where one particular movement is to be seen.
